The Solution
How to waterproof on a bleeding bitumen paint? Seal the top joint before pressure washing. Apply Eka-Coat AB Primer, which has excellent adhesion on bitumen. Apply Lightweight Cementitious Polyurethane-Acrylic Mix at 2mm thickness. Apply Eka-Coat Hydro-Shield Hybrid PU Cool Roof Coat at 1mm thickness. A flexible waterproofing was chosen because of the movements. The flat roof section is totally waterproofed and the roof temperature also dropped by 27 ° C.
